An MVP makes sense when there's a stranger, an action, and a sign that you can write down before to build. If any of the three are missing, you're not asking for an MVP: you're asking for something else — or you don't know what yet.
This page decides. It does not define: the definition of Studio MVP It lives apart. It doesn't separate: the boundary with the internal tool is in MVP or internal tool. The commission, if the decision is yes, lives in MVP for startups, within custom software. Wallion does not open a root URL /mvp.
The short answer
Yeah when: (1) the user is external — customer, store, workshop, buyer who doesn't get paid by you; (2) the action fits in a sentence without "and also"; (3) someone external will use it the week it comes out; (4) you can list what No enter without fighting; (5) the signal (returned / paid / asked for the next piece) is written before the first commit.
No When: the user is only the team; you want to replace the entire month; nobody is going to touch it; you can't say what's left out; the "MVP" is a backlog disguised as a minimum; or you need staffing and you call it a product.
If the line is “Maria from administration closes the month,” read the tool guide, not this one. If the line is “a local makes a reservation and I’ll see if they return,” continue here.
When to do it (specific signs)
There's a bet that can be lost soon. One buyer, one use case, one yes or no in weeks—not a quarter of slides. The learning or the sale has to fit into the current quarter's timeline, not "when the product is ready.".
The scope can be summed up in one sentence. “A restaurant reserves a table.” “A workshop sends a quote.” “A buyer places and pays for the first order.” If the sentence includes “and also,” it’s still not the minimum: it’s a product that hasn’t been prioritized.
Someone from outside will use it the week it comes out. Family and partners don't count. A client who's already said they'll try it, does. Without that someone, you're just putting on a show: there's a demo, but no signal.
You can write what is not included. No arguing in the meeting. The dream panel, the five integrations, the app on three platforms: gone. If the cuts don't hurt, you didn't cut anything.
The sign is written before. He came back. He paid. He asked for the next piece even though you wouldn't sell it to him. One of those three (or yours, with the same rigor). Without prior criteria, the MVP is only useful for having built something.
When not (and what do you ask for instead)
| Situation | Why he's not MVP | What to order instead |
|---|---|---|
| Only used by the team / closes at the end of the month | There is no external market | Internal tool / un flujo |
| “We need to digitize” without a phrase of scope | There's no betting that can't be won. | Diagnosis or wait |
| Prototype for the deck / investors | Nobody touches it the week it "comes out"“ | Don't call him MVP |
| Replace the entire month of the company | It's for multiple projects or a large tool | A flow first |
| Live backlog, you need hands | It's staffing, not a minimum product. | To put it simply: reinforcement, not “MVP” |
| Landing page with form | The stranger did not ends an action | Marketing, not product |
If you fit into the left column and still ask for "MVP", you're misnaming — and misjudging if you're comparing the wrong band.
What's in and what's out (the cut)
Enter: an action, an external user, a usable happy path from end to end, data you can read later (who, when, if they returned or paid), an owner of the "fact" in the studio.
It doesn't fit: The dream admin panel; the five integrations; the brand redesign; the app on three platforms; “everything the team will also need.” That’s it. after, if the first one is used.
The cut hurts the outside. If no one at the table loses a screen they wanted, you haven't cut: you've postponed the fight to sprint three.
How to know if it worked
It's not "we liked it in the demo." It's: Did anyone come back? Did they pay? Did they order the next piece on their own? One of those three—or the signal you wrote. before.
If the criteria are invented later ("Did they like it?"), the MVP only proves that you built it. If the stranger can't finish it without the founder acting as glue via WhatsApp, you didn't deliver an MVP: you delivered a draft with hosting.
After the yes. If the stranger returned, the next piece is written the same way: a sentence, a snippet, a deadline. If they didn't return, you stop. You don't "expand the MVP." Expanding without a signal is the full product disguised as a minimum.
Failure modes
“MVP” = cheap product. You asked for five screens, three platforms, and the panel, "but the bare minimum." The cutbacks aren't a big deal. It wasn't an MVP; it was a product that wasn't a priority.
Eternal PoC. There's a prototype. It's taught. It's stored away. Nobody touches it. You learn zero. Don't call it an MVP to feel productive.
Tool with product name. Only the team uses it. You measure it monthly. You call it an MVP because it sounds like a startup. Poorly named—and poorly budgeted if you look at the toolbar as if it were the minimum product (or vice versa).
Signal invented after the fact. You build first. Then, "Did they like it?" Without written criteria beforehand, there's no decision: there's just spending.
Staff in disguise. Live backlog, you need hands, you're asking for "an MVP." Say it. Don't mix tables or prices.

Public prices (Option D — without inventing other figures)
Only the figures from the site. The €6,900–€14,900 price range is not the price of an MVP.
- Diagnosis — €1,900. Written scope, prototype, fixed budget. If you continue, it will be deducted from the construction cost.
- Construction — €6,900–€14,900. An internal tool / a flow after the diagnosis. It's not the price of a large app, an MVP, or staffing.
- Building an MVP: price fixed in writing after the Diagnosis — same model (scope + number + date), another figure, not that band.
- License — from €390/month if Wallion maintains what has been built (hosting, security, regulatory and API changes, small change cap, support during business hours — depending on the offer).
Apps, MVPs, and staffing: Diagnostic → fixed written → optional license. Do not confuse the tool number with the minimum product number. Offer: MVP for startups. Hub: custom software.
What Wallion does (and when not to buy it)
Wallion is a custom software studio in Barcelona. It builds MVPs a price fixed in writing After the initial assessment (€1,900, discountable if you continue). Building the MVP does not use the internal tool's public bandwidth. License, if we maintain the built version: from €390/month.
Model, in one sentence: a stranger, an action, a written sign; painful reach; closed number; date of “done”; someone on the other end when I fail on Monday.
Don't buy an MVP with Wallion When the user is only the team; when you can't write what's not included; when nobody will touch it the week it's released; when you want to replace the entire month; or when you need staffing and you call it a product. If in the call you say "this is a tool, not an MVP," it should be said in the first conversation. Geo: /software/barcelona.
Decision list (before ordering)
Mark each point. If any are left blank, do not sign "MVP".
- Is there a stranger — or just the team?
- Can the action fit into a sentence without "and also"?
- Is the sign (returned / paid / ordered the next one) written before to build?
- Will anyone from outside the company use it the week it's released — not just members?
- Can you list what No Come in without fighting?
- Are you measuring external usage, or the month-end closing? (If it's the month → tool.)
- Are you comparing the €6,900–€14,900 range (tool) or a fixed written MVP?
- Are you asking for a diagnostic with a range phrase, or a pilot without an owner?
- Do you need minimum product or hands in a backlog (staffing)?
- Is the "fact" that a stranger finishes the flow — or that you like the demo?
Without those answers, “MVP” is an adjective, not a mandate. If the question is “MVP or tool?”, open MVP or internal tool before signing.
Questions that buyers do ask
Is it the same as “shoot fast and see”?
Share the minimum requirements with real users. Change the project description: written scope, fixed price, deadline, and responsible studio. It's not an endless sprint with no one responsible for closing it.
When does it not make sense even if it “sounds like a startup”?
When only the team uses it, nobody touches it, or you can't say what's out. Definition: What is a studio MVP?. Separation: MVP or internal tool.
Does the €6,900–€14,900 price range cover the MVP?
No. That band is an internal tool/flow. The MVP is going to price fixed in writing.
Is the €1,900 diagnostic lost if we don't continue?
If you continue, the price is discounted. If not, you've paid for a diagnostic with a prototype and a written contract—not an empty deck.
What does the license include starting from €390/month?
The offer includes: hosting, security, regulatory and API updates, a limit on minor changes, and support during business hours. Major changes: fixed timeframe.
